The Potato Late Blight Open Day will be held at the Muck Soils research Farm on Thursday, August 26 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Lunch will be served at 12:00 PM, sponsored by the Michigan Potato Industry Commission.

The MSU Muck Research Farm is located about 3.5 miles northeast of Bath, Michigan. It can be reached via I-69. Take I-69 exit 94 onto E Saginaw St. At the first traffic lights turn left onto Old M-78. After about 0.5 miles turn left onto Upton road. Take Upton road 2.6 miles to Clark road. Turn right on Clark road. Follow clark road for 1.5 miles until it bends north into Peacock road. After about 0.25 miles Peackroad becomes a dirt road. Keep straight on the dirt road for approx 1 mile until you see the sign for the Muck farm on the left. Turn left onto Herbison road. It dead-ends at the MSU Muck Research Farm.

July 15 - Late blight has been sighted in Mecosta county.

July 1 - Late blight has been sighted in Saginaw and Bay counties.
